We have the BEST memories with Anthony
We went on a 9 day safari with Anthony and it was amazing! Anthony was responsible, intelligent, witty and intuitive. He consistently put us in the right place at the right time to the best view. We were well informed from the time we arrived til the time we left. I would recommend this trip to anyone! Family, solo travelers, solo female. Even though I was with family I have solo traveled as a female and know it can be intimidating. Great experience!
My college age daughter was traveling in Kenya and booked a last minute Safari with Best Memory Safaris with a friend and had THE BEST TIME! Patrick was her driver and she said he was so nice, easy going, and they saw so many birds, animals, reptiles, etc. The driver even took her friend to get a haircut at a local barbershop and they loved the whole experience. The lodges were great, food was delicious and overall... they had the best time. Incredible Safari with Anthony!
Just returned home from the most amazing 9-day safari with Best Memory! Our guide, Anthony was absolutely incredible. I would recommend him 1000% for so many reasons. As far as I'm concerned, he is THE guide you want and need for an epic safari in Kenya. First and foremost, I felt very safe in his care. Because of our itinerary, we were in the car for hours at a time. I'm often a nervous passenger, but Anthony was such a good driver that I felt at ease even in the unfamiliar setting. His communication with our group was wonderful. We always knew the plan for the day, what time to meet him in the morning and evenings, and even if things changed he made sure to discuss with us. For our game drives, Anthony somehow managed to position our vehicle in the perfect location EVERY SINGLE TIME. At first, it seemed like luck that we were able to get the best photographs and videos vs. other groups, but we quickly realized that it was Anthony's experience, intuition, and patience that always put us in the most ideal position to witness incredible moments. Ex: more than 30+ cars were crowded in an area where there was a leopard spotting. Many of them went offroad, repositioning every few seconds, and crowded/ blocked the animals space. Anthony was patient, analyzed the behavior of the leopard, and even radioed to other drivers to give it room to make moves. While others were acting on impulse, Anthony acted on intuition and parked us in the PERFECT location to capture a beautiful leopard and her young. This happened time and time again! There were times where we were photographing an animal and were ready to move on but Anthony suggested we stay longer based on their movements/ behavior. He was right and we were able to capture a lion and lioness flirt with mating this way. Anthony's respectfulness went beyond that of the animals space and emotions... there were several occasions when he stopped to pick up trash in the parks. He also communicated to us the rules of the parks, not the venture off the designated roads for personal gain. This was really commendable. Other things we all loved about Anthony and our experience: he was so personable, funny (always had us and others laughing), a great storyteller, shared his personal experiences, great knowledge about animals and the land, educator on cultural differences, gave advice on how to interact with local people, etc. Aside from how great of a guide Anthony is, our group had such positive experiences at our accommodations! Jeder der mit BMS unterwegs ist, oder war, versteht das die 5 Punkte nicht ausreichend sind. Von der Planung, bis zur Durchführung, immer zum Wohle des Gastes. Isaac hat ein gutes Preis Leistungs Verhältnis, die Autos sind in Schuss, die Fahrer freundlich und hervorragende Natur - und Tierkenner. Meine Tour im Januar bestand hauptsächlich aus Empfehlungen von Antony, und war emotional, begeisternd und informativ. Antony gibt bei Rückfragen gerne ausführliche Informationen rund um das Leben in Kenia. Er hat Verständnis das ich bei jedem Elefanten in Verzügung gerate, Unmenge Fotos mache, stundenlang beobachten kann , und wartet geduldig wenn ich endlos lang mit meinem Patenkind bei Sheldrick in Tsavo East kuschle. Ich kann BMS nur empfehlen. Es gibt fertige Programme oder ihr sagt was ihr gerne sehen wollt. Isaac mischt alles zusammen und ihr habt ein Gänsehaut Erlebnis pur. Excelled Expectations Experience
We booked our safari trip with Issac, and the experience excelled our expectations. 1. Issac traveled from Mombasa to Nairobi to get us on boarded, the whole communication with him through the process was clear and fast in response. 2. The hotels/camps that Issac has booked for us are really good. They were cozy, comfortable and very relaxing. In lake Naivasha, the hippos visited our hotel after dark; in Travo East, we had the room right in front of the water hole; in Amboseli, there was a party in the restaurant where everyone singing and dancing Hakuna Matata. I would strongly recommend to have Issac booking the beach hotel as well, we booked a hotel on our own as we want it to be close to our dive center, however this hotel can not compared to the ones Issac arranged for us during the safaris. 3. We have got a very experienced driver Patrick, not only is Patrick a good driver, he is also a good animal spotter, we managed to have the best spot to see the young Cheetah hunting, Elephants wandering and even lions having "afternoon delight". Patrick is very well organized, knowledgeable, friendly, and we had a great time with him. He also made some recommendations to our program based on the weather and traffic, so we managed to have some alternative authentic experience through the period. The trip just ended, I am using the coffee shop wifi to write you guys a review, it crushed once and I had to rewrite everything. However still very much willing to do so, as we are very very happy and enjoyed very much the trip. Tips for fellow traveller's, mobile network is not covering all the areas when in the wild, and wifi is not covering all the tents in the camp. A dream come true (Safari in Kenya)
We have booked our honeymoon with Best Memory Safaris. The trip was excellent. It last 14 days including 8 days of safari, 5 days at the beach and 1 day for arrival and departure. planning and booking Our contact person for the organization and booking of the tour was Isaac Musyoki. We were requesting for our safari offer very late, only 3 weeks before the 1st game drive started. Despite this fact, in consultation with Isaac we have created a customized journey in less than one week of time. The booking process is characterized by a high level of flexibility. Even special wishes like meeting up with my wifes godchild would have been possible. arrival After our arrival at the airport in Nairobi, Kenya Isaac and Bernard Ngei, our game driver, picked us up directly to start the safari tours. The warm welcome immediately made us feel that we are in good hands. After Isaac left us in the city of Nairobi, we went on our tour together with Bernard. game drives Our ranger Bernard first took us to the national parks Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha, Amboseli and Tsavo West before he drove us to Diani Beach. We have spent the whole 8 days of safari together with him and enjoyed every second of it. Together we drove approx. 2000 km through the country and its national parks. Usually we did two game drives a day. One in the early morning, starting between 6 am and 7 am., and one in the afternoon. Due to the fact, that a safari trip probably stands and falls with the guide, we would like to share some of our impressions of Bernard: a) He is very friendly, attentive and always cares about his guests, which means he is asking if a toilet stop is necessary or if there is still enough drinking water in the car to give a few examples. b) He shapes the game drives flexible (i.e. weather-dependent) and is very regardful about his passengers. Whenever we needed a rest, i.e. after a long trip, he adjusted the time for the upcoming game drive. c) He respects the habits and habitats of the animals. He knows how to provide an excellent view to the animals and the scenery for taking very nice pictures without disturbing the animals. d) He is extremely experienced (> 25 years of safari tours) and therefore gained so much knowledge about his home country Kenya and its animals. e) Moreover he understands and predicts the behavior of the animals. That’s why he is always one step ahead of many other game drivers to get the best views to the animals for his passengers. He acts absolutely far-seeing. f) He does not overload the passengers with too much information about the animals. He doses information the right way and is also a good listener when talking with each other. g) He is cross-linked to so many people across Kenya. It is unbelievable. It seems like he is knowing every person in Kenya. h) He is multilingual. He speaks Swahili and the other languages spoken in Kenya (native languages). Furthermore he speaks excellent English (2nd native language) and also German. Probably he is even speaking more languages that we did not find out. i) He knows the limits of his land cruiser (recommended) and the conditions of the roads. That’s why we always felt very safe. j) He helps in every situation and clarifies that vegetables are washed with drinking water in the accommodations we have been. Bernard Ngei made our honeymoon very special. Every second with him was so much fun. We really enjoyed our community. accommodations We have stayed in high standard tent camps and lodges, that were very clean, provided a wide range of meals and had a very friendly and helpful staff. departure A business-partner of Best Memory Safaris brought us from our hotel in Diani Beach to the airport of Mombasa, from where we flew home with all these beautiful memories in our bag. conclusion If you are planning to do a safari tour, book with Best Memory Safaris. Best Memories Safari: di nome e di fatto
La nostra esperienza è stata davvero da Best Memories! Isaac (il titolare dell’agenzia) ci ha organizzato 8 giorni di safari secondo le nostre esigenze. Avevamo necessità di iniziare il tour da Nairobi e terminarlo direttamente a Watamu dove abbiamo passato un’altra settimana. Isaac è stato uno dei pochi che, aggiungendo al programma la visita allo Tsavo Est, ci portava direttamente al mare senza voli interni (generalmente i safari partono e terminano a Nairobi). Abbiamo visto molti parchi bellissimi (Masai Maara, Lago Naivasha, Amboseli e Tsavo Est) e grazie alla nostra bravissima guida Patrick siamo riusciti a vedere tutti gli animali! Le sistemazioni scelte erano molto belle, soprattutto i campi tendati. Un ringraziamento speciale dobbiamo farlo alla nostra guida/autista Patrick che ha contribuito, con la sua esperienza e professionalità, a rendere questa esperienza indimenticabile! Un suggerimento: scegliete il tour da soli in Land Cruiser; il piccolo sovrapprezzo ne vale ampiamente la pena! Best Memories Ever
As the title of this review says- Best Memories with Best Memory Safaris. Won’t write a lengthy essay as all has been already said in previous reviews and is true down to the last word. Trip planning & organisation- precise Accommodations- immaculate People- lovely The whole experience was out of this world, thanks to Issac Musyoki (The Boss), Kevin Anari (The Funny One) and Bernard Ingaye (The Professor). Incredible experience and would highly recommend booking with Best Memorys for your safaris!
I planned our trip with best memory safaris back in 2022 and had the pleasure of dealing with Isaac who throughout the whole process was very helpful and responsive with any queries and questions presented him with. Four of us travelled from the UK to carry out a 10 day safari and 4 nights at dianni beach resort in Mombasa. We arrived in Nairobi airport on the morning where we were greeted by Isaac and introduced to our driver Anthony whom would be accompanying us for the whole of our safari. Well what can I say, Anthony is absolutely fantastic guide! His experience and knowledge pays dividends and were were able to witness some fantastic sights on our safari. Throughout the safari drives Anthony payed close attention to showing us the whole of the wildlife Kenya has to offer. This was evident when seeing other drivers racing round just looking for the big 5 where as Anthony takes a very steady approach and will stop to show the smallest of birds he has spotted and tell you numerous interesting facts about them. That being said we also saw the big 5 on numerous occasions and experience several amazing events of seeing a cheetah with its 3 cubs, baby elephants up close etc. The accommodation we stayed in was a mixture of lodges and tented lodges which were all fantastically presented and were positioned in the most beautiful locations. The food at the lodges was lovely and staff couldn't do any more to help you. Kenya safari and Diani beach
Issac helped with the perfect planning and Frank was an amazing tour guide and driver. We did 9 day safari and 4 days Diani beach. Our three kids (tweens/teens) loved it too. Very good value and highly recommend
